I don’t want your child’s school portrait to be a photograph you tolerate just because it’s required. I approach school portraits with the same attention to expression, connection, and lighting that I bring into all of my other work. The result is a clean, natural portrait that works for the yearbook and is also beautiful enough to display in your home.

After discussing and agreeing upon a date and time I build a custom booking page for your students and staff to book their time slot(s). I provide detailed instructions and answer any booking questions that arise. Parents and staff receive confirmation, additional instructions, and relative reminders once they are booked.
Once picture day has arrived, I handle setup and break down, gentle posing guidance to everyone, and an easy stress-free day. -
I prefer to schedule 5 minutes per student and staff member. For families that want group shots of siblings, with or without parents, additional time slots are encouraged to book to make the time for that.
If your group/school has different timing needs, we can absolutely discuss that together!

I can accommodate individual student/staff, group student/classes, group staff, siblings together, staff and students together, etc.

Absolutely! We can even arrange for each grade to be shot together, if desired.
For larger group shots, it is preferred that a stage or space large enough to fit everyone together with varying heights is available.
I will help coordinate where everyone is placed so that everyone makes it in the shot.

Yes, these will be ready for the school to print as desired via an online gallery.

Each family will receive a private, password-protected gallery where they can make their selections. These galleries will be provided within 4 weeks of the session date(s). They will have through the rest of the school year to make purchases before their gallery expires.

Definitely. I have my professional lab attached directly to the gallery making this process very easy.
There are also discounts available such as ordering within 30 days of the gallery being release as well as digital images included in certain print packages.

Yes, this is also an option.

When we choose our date and time, we will also schedule a “make-up” picture date to cover anyone who missed the first option. I’ll make sure everyone who misses the first date has another opportunity to be photographed.

Yes, I prefer that these particular students have a chance to re-shoot if they’re experiencing a particularly hard day. So, I encourage those families to prioritize being present for the first picture day and to choose a slot on the make-up day as well if the first day didn’t go as planned.

Considering we live in Texas, the weather can be extremely unpredictable. While we can absolutely plan to shoot outdoors (with or without a backdrop, this is ultimately up to you), having a backup plan for indoors is always great.
My indoor setup can take up very little space, depending on how large group shots are.

Family-paid picture days: Families pay a booking fee that is applied as a credit toward their portrait or print purchases.
School-paid picture days: Your school or organization covers the photography fee upfront, allowing families to order photographs and products separately.
School and co-op services typically range from $10–$25 per student or staff member, depending on the scope of the needs.
