I’m Nicole!

Fourteen years ago I became a wife. Two years later, a mama. And not long after that, I picked up my first “fancy” camera. That was the start of what would become one of the greatest joys of my life, a way to express my artistic and creative side.

Since then, I’ve had three more beautiful children with my husband (my childhood crush, how I landed him I will never understand). Through every season of my own babies, moves, and growth, my camera has been there to capture memories. Families have trusted me to capture their special moments in all walks of life: maternity, birth, newborn, family, weddings and beyond.

I’m drawn to the un-staged, the in-between, the raw and real — the moments that make you feel something when you look back. The way your child’s hand fits in yours, or how light falls across your living room on an ordinary Sunday. To me, photography is more than art, it’s a way to remember what it felt like to live this season of your story.

I was born and raised in Southern California, where I spent my childhood trail riding horses and competing in gymkhanas.

After a few moves and big life changes, my husband and I eventually found our home in Texas, on a little three-acre piece of quiet country life. Here, we homeschool our four kids, tend to our animals, and run a small family business called Nourished Market connecting our community to local farmers.

Motherhood has shaped every part of how I see the world. After experiencing both hospital and home births, I became deeply passionate about the beauty, strength, and sacredness of that journey — in all its forms.

Whether a birth unfolds quietly at home or within the walls of a hospital, I believe every story of bringing life into the world deserves to be honored. That perspective continues to guide how I photograph mothers and families — with empathy, reverence, and a deep respect for each woman’s unique path.

While I’m not currently offering birth photography or doula services, it will always carry a special place in my heart. I highly recommend both Stephanie Shirley and Devynn Leanne for birth photography services. Shelley Williams is my go-to recommendation for doula services and Nanci Stanley CPM, LM is fantastic for midwifery services.

In recent years, I’ve also been on a deeper spiritual journey, one that’s drawn us into the rich, ancient rhythms of the Eastern Orthodox Church, where we’ve finally found a faith home that feels timeless and whole.

Now, I’m returning to photography with fresh eyes and full heart — ready to capture stories of love, family, and belonging through a lens shaped by all these seasons of life.
