Extended Family Photos // Hockley, TX

This family session was such a special one. We began right here on my property in Hockley, TX before heading up the road. Eventually we made our way to a meaningful spot in Cypress, TX that this family has returned to over the years.

Starting at home always brings a relaxed and natural feel to a session. The familiarity of the space allows families to settle in easily, creating moments that feel genuine and unforced. From there, transitioning to a different setting added variety while still keeping the session laid-back and enjoyable.

Our final stop in Cypress made the session especially meaningful. Photographing a family in a place that holds memories for them adds a deeper layer to the images. It’s not just about how things look, but what they represent. Returning to a location over the years creates a beautiful sense of continuity, capturing how a family grows and changes while certain traditions remain the same.
