This beautiful home birth story was such an honor to witness and document.

This family welcomed their second baby at home, surrounded by a calm and supportive environment that allowed the experience to unfold with trust and intention. From the beginning, there was a steady sense of care in the room, with a trusted midwife and an incredible doula offering continuous support to this mama as she labored.

The strength and focus she carried throughout her labor was remarkable. She moved through each wave with determination, fully supported and encouraged by those around her. Home births have a way of feeling both powerful and peaceful at the same time, and this one held that balance so beautifully.

After her baby boy was born, one of the most tender moments followed shortly after. Their daughter, newly stepping into her role as a big sister, came into the room to meet her baby brother. The transition from birth space to family space was seamless and full of emotion, as love expanded to include this newest member of their family.

Watching siblings meet for the first time is always such a meaningful part of birth photography. There is a purity to those moments that cannot be recreated, only witnessed and preserved.
