A Joyful Family Session in Jones State Forest | Conroe, TX
This family session at W. Goodrich Jones State Forest was such a fun and memorable afternoon. From the moment we started walking the trails together, it was clear this family simply loves being together.
Jones State Forest is such a beautiful setting for photos, with tall trees, winding paths, and peaceful pockets of light filtering through the forest. The natural surroundings made the perfect backdrop for a session that felt relaxed and full of life.
Their two boys did such a wonderful job during the session, and their playful energy made the evening even more fun. We hiked along the trails, spent plenty of time laughing and goofing around together, and danced in little clearings. Sessions like this are always my favorite because they feel less like posing and more like simply spending time as a family.
One of the sweetest things about this session was how clearly these parents adore each other and their boys. Their warmth and joy together made every moment feel genuine and easy to capture.
By the end of the session I knew this was one I would love when I got home to look through the images — and it absolutely lived up to that feeling. These are some photos I truly love, and it was such a pleasure to document this season for their family.
